Frequently asked questions
How do I send personalised push messages to many recipients?
With bulk send: you upload a CSV with one row per recipient and write title and body as a template with placeholders. PushPig fills in the values from each recipient's row and sends the messages as a background job.
What format does the CSV need?
The first row holds the column names. The username column is mandatory and identifies the recipient. Every other column becomes a placeholder you can use in title and body as {columnname}.
How many recipients can one job have?
Up to 5,000 rows per CSV, and at most 5 bulk jobs per hour and account. Split larger lists across several jobs.
What happens to recipients who have not subscribed to the channel?
They are skipped and reported as skipped in the job summary, so after the run you can see exactly who was not reached and why.
Can I cancel a running bulk job?
Yes, at any time from the dashboard or via /api/channels/bulk/cancel. Messages already sent stay delivered, the rest of the job stops.
Is bulk send included in the free plan?
No, bulk send is part of the Pro plan. On the free plan you send individual messages through the regular send API.
